WAS BORN IN SOUTHEN CALIFORNIA TO KEN AND JOAN SUESS FROM IOWA
RAISED IN SAN DIEGO GRADUATED FROM SERRA HIGH IN TIERRASANTA
IN 1980
WHEN GROWING UP AS A CALIFORINA KID, IT MEANT SKATEBOARDING,
CAMPING AT THE BEACH AND LOTS OF IT.
HANGING OUT ON THE BOARD WALK, ROCK - N - ROLL 70'S STYLE, ALWAYS
CRUSING THE STREETS IN HOT RODS AND LOTS OF PARTIES TO GO TO
LEFT NO TIME FOR BORDOM. WITH HUNDREDS OF CONCERTS, ROAD TRIPS
AND GROUPIES, LIFE IN THE SUN IS NOTHING BUT FUN. JIMMY SUESS
IS THE ORIGINAL SKATEBOARD PARTNER WITH SKATEBOARDING GREAT
DAVE DUNCAN. CREATING THE T.R.T. OR TIERRISANTA ROCKER TEAM,
WITH THE BEST LOCAL SKATERS JIMMY AND DAVE BECAME SAN DIEGO'S
DOGTOWN TYPE BOYS.
THE FIRST SKATEBOARD RAMP WAS BUILT IN FRONT OF JIMMIES HOUSE
IN 9th GRADE BY JIMMY AND DAVE, AND IT WAS CALLED THE WOODEN
WONDER. THEY GOT CAUGHT HOPPING THE FENCE AND SKATEBOARDING
IN THE DARK WITH FLASHLIGHTS IN SAN DIEGOS FIRST SKATEBOARD
PARK ON HOME AVENUE THE NIGHT BEFORE IT OPENED.
